I had the privilege of meeting Shelley in 2014 when I was living in Victoria. It was a chance meeting through a VIATEC fundraising event, and she and I share the same positive, outgoing energy so we connected straight away. Since then, we have stayed in touch over the years via social media even after I moved back to the mainland.
