Holiday wishes for 2022 – happy to reshare my Christmas post from 2021. So much still applies.
2022 was certainly better than 2020 and 2021 yet had its own challenges. I hope you were able to find the bright spots throughout the last year and grow through the tough times.
The world still needs more peace, love, and understanding and I trust you’re doing your part to make our planet a better place. I hope you’re also giving yourself and others grace and forgiveness for those times we/they may not live up to our expectations. Tomorrow is a new day and a chance to start fresh. So is the new year!
Here’s to 2023 bringing new happy memories, gratitude and appreciation for what we’ve been through, and doing what we can to move us collectively towards a better future. xox
In the meantime, I’m reminded of all we’ve experienced, personally and collectively, over the past year. Tenderness is warranted, for ourselves and each other. Forgiveness for what we could have done better, grace for ourselves as we may not have gotten to all we wanted to (damn COVID crept into 2022!), and appreciation of the people and the lessons that crossed our paths. May 2023 be better, kinder, and happier.
I wish everyone courage and strength for the present. Some of us may need it more than others as holidays are faced without being around all those we love. I’m so grateful for peopley activities and events that we were able to experience again in 2022. For this year, I’m leaning into gratitude for who I’m able to see, what we’re able to do, and enjoying what presents itself.
Most importantly, I send out hope for the new year and a 2023 where we can share the happiness and excitement for what’s next, knowing we can get through anything, especially with the love and support of our people.
Me? My heart bursts with appreciation for each of you. Your support of what I’ve been trying to build has been a gift over the last few years, and I thank you for accompanying me on this journey, in whatever form it has taken.
Peace and love from me to you and yours for a Merry Christmas, Blessed Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, or whatever holiday is your tradition. Here’s to 2023 being an opportunity to build new happy memories with family as well as old and new friends, colleagues, and clients.
